How will wordpress help me out in the future

I don’t know if I will continue to use word press or not. I don’t invest much time on the computer and when I am on the computer it is normally for school related topics. I might end up using a weblog somewhere down the road in my job if I have a product that needs to be advertised in some shape or form. It can help me out since it will be free advertising and would be easy to get to too learn about the product. I think this site is a little more confusing compared to facebook or myspace. But the only reason I say that is that I have been just introduced to the site not too long ago compared to using the other two sites frequently.

My attitude about composition

My attitude towards the topic really hasn’t changed all that much. If anything has changed its been my outlook on writing. All of the topics that we discussed this year have helped me widen my horizons towards writing in the correct way. Their have been times though this year that I have noticed that I have been enjoying writing more than what I used too. I’m not sure why this might be but their is defiantly a more positive outlook now when it comes to writing a research paper.

Response to The World Food Crisis

This article was written about how with rising commodity prices and higher subsidies for producers, that they will continue to grow that crop to get the best money for it. They state in the article that last year more people were malnourished and were starving, they say it is mainly do in the fact that people can’t afford to eat anymore with the prices going so high to buy just a loaf of bread. The author of the story John Nichols says that instead of telling producers their wrong to seek the best price for their commodity, provide them with the best price that will keep food prices down, and provide them with a safety net in case of a bad year. This does sound like a good idea, but it would be almost impossible to do with all the different branches that the market touches.

Common Place Editorial

I went ahead and read the Family Guy editorial and thought about it a lot.   It seems to a person like me who’s dictionary isn’t the biggest that it was very hard to read.  If that person was trying to target a younger audience with the topic they did, but once you got to reading it you might of been lost like me at times.  An editorial is meant to be read fast and easy and this one was the exact opposite for some reason.  The reason why it is on the website probably has to do with it being a popular tv show.  But the average audience of family guy, I think likes things that are funny that you don’t have to think about.  So if the writer was trying to reach the family guy audience I don’t think they did a good job.

Solutions from Berry

When berry talks about supporting your local businesses in your area and keeping the economy going i dont think it could work in my area.  We talked in class about how the amish use all of their resources so they don’t have to go to town, but theirs just to many odd ends that need to be covered so i dont think that i can see some of the things happening that he suggest just because we all work together in the community to accomplish what is needed.

The final research paper was pretty hard to write about at first when I was still collecting my thoughts and research. Once I got my research strait from lexus nexus the information seemed to be able to write itself. I spent a lot of time getting the final copy proofread and understanding all the different topics that needed to be taking into account to make the paper better.  I found after a couple days for the research to be going along very good, and everything falling into place.
